I wasn’t really impressed with this, to be honest. The whole thing feels light and flimsy, especially the tonearm, which just doesn’t feel solid at all. For the price, I was expecting something that felt a lot sturdier. It does work, but it feels cheap when you handle it. I also reached out about it and kind of got the impression nobody actually read what I wrote, which made the whole experience more frustrating.

This used to feel more worth it, but now it just seems too pricey for what you get. I don’t mind paying a bit more when the quality or experience is there, but this doesn’t really feel like a good value anymore.

I’ve ordered audio gear online before, including a couple of fragile items, and this was definitely one of the more frustrating shipping experiences I’ve had. The site gave one timeline, but my order took way longer to actually ship, and the tracking barely moved. I kept checking it myself, and it just seemed to sit there for days with no real updates.
When the turntable finally arrived, the box was beat up and the packing inside didn’t feel very secure. For something like a turntable, I expected a lot more care in how it was shipped. Overall, it left a bad impression, and I don’t think I’d order from them again.

I wanted to like it more, but in person it just looks kind of basic. Not ugly or anything, just a bit underwhelming for the price. I even asked support if I was missing some detail from the photos, and they basically said that it’s meant to be a more “minimal, clean design,” which is fair, but it still felt plain to me.

I had a small issue with my order, so I emailed U-Turn Audio to see what they could do. They didn’t reply instantly, but it was still quick, and the person who got back to me was friendly and explained it clearly.

They got it taken care of without turning it into a whole ordeal, which I appreciated. I only went with 4 stars because I did have to follow up once, but overall it was a good experience.

I really wanted to like my U-Turn setup, but the sound just wasn’t there for me. Everything came across kind of flat and muddy, especially vocals, which was disappointing after waiting in a long queue just to finally get help/order sorted.

I tried a bunch of different records and double-checked my speakers too, hoping maybe it was something simple on my end. But it still never really sounded clear. The bass felt weak, the highs were dull, and nothing had the detail I was expecting.

For the price, I thought it would be way better. Maybe I just got a bad unit, but between the underwhelming sound and the annoying wait, I’m disappointed and wouldn’t buy it again.

I’m not really sure what I was missing, but I just couldn’t get it set up. I expected it to be straightforward, and instead I ended up feeling frustrated and confused the whole time.
